5-Minute Air Fryer Salmon (Crispy Perfection!)

Okay, listen — I used to be SO intimidated by cooking salmon. Like, what if it’s dry? What if it’s raw? What if Mia makes that face?
But then I discovered air fryer salmon and literally everything changed. THREE INGREDIENTS, PEOPLE. And it comes out perfect every single time (no joke, even when I’m rushing around trying to find Mia’s homework and answer seventeen texts from other moms).
Made this last night. So good. Crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. And the best part? Mia didn’t even complain! She was too busy eating it 🙌
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (whatever size, doesn’t matter)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper (or literally any seasoning you have)
Instructions
Pat the salmon dry with paper towels (this is important for crispiness but don’t stress if you forget — it’ll still taste good). Brush both sides with olive oil.
Season however you want — I just do salt and pepper because I’m lazy but garlic powder is amazing too. Or that everything bagel seasoning from Trader Joe’s (obsessed).
Air fry at 400°F for 7-10 minutes depending on thickness. Don’t flip it! Just let it do its thing. I usually check at 7 minutes and it’s perfect.
That’s literally it. I’m not even kidding.
Tips
Oh! Before I forget — if your salmon has skin, put it skin-side down in the air fryer. The skin gets SO crispy (Mia peels it off but I eat it because waste not want not).
And if you wanna get fancy, squeeze some lemon on top after cooking. Or serve with literally anything — rice, pasta, those microwaveable veggie packets. Done is better than perfect!
Leftovers keep in the fridge for like 2 days. Great on salads or just eaten cold while standing at the counter (don’t judge me).
